Just Breathe

Breathe….that is what I have to remind myself to do these days.  Not the in-and-out breath that keeps our body functioning — but the slow, deep, sustaining breath that keeps us calm.  A yoga breath.  I really need to find that wonderful center that I can find when I take time out from worry to breathe deeply and meditate on just being.  Not anticipating the next hour, day, week or month — and all the uncertainty that is always looming these days.   In the meantime today I am working and plugged into my ipod…listening to John Mayer.  It is a good substitute for the moment, but I will have to do better.
