Halloween

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays.  We are prepared for tonight’s onslaught of neighborhood ghosts and goulies and the occasional princess.

There are so many things that I miss.  The frenzy of putting together a costume, traveling with the kids to all the different neighborhoods where different family and friends waited to see and treat them — now it is just the opening and closing of a door to peer out into the night and see who is there waiting for their prize of candy.

I have given up on the candy these days — I am trying very hard to stay away from that bowl.  I didn’t even open the Tootsie Rolls — they would be my downfall.  But, I do have some pictures from the past … they bring back such fun memories!!  I will not put names to the faces to protect the innocent–but you know who you are (c:|>
